Herbal Ritual & Body Work
Each postpartum visit includes a restorative herbal ritual tailored to your needs, which may include a sitz bath, yoni steam, intuitive bodywork, or herbal infusion or elixir.
I incorporate my handmade, organic herbal offerings throughout these rituals, including warm body oils, my Mama’s Mending peri bottle, steam, and soak blend, mineral tea, adaptogen cacao, golden milk, and more.
Explore my herbal offerings here.
Sitz baths are especially helpful in the early days postpartum, particularly if you’ve experienced tearing, have stitches, or need relief for swelling, soreness, or inflammation. Warm herbal soaks bring relief, reduce risk of infection, and support surface-level healing.
Yoni steaming is ideal for mamas who are past the initial days of bleeding, have no tearing or stitches, and are ready for warmth and circulation. This practice encourages the uterus to contract and release any remaining lochia, supports tissue repair, and helps restore balance in the pelvic bowl. It’s also a way to show your yoni appreciation and reverence after the incredible work of childbirth.
Body Work is intuitive and gentle, not clinical. Whether you're nursing, holding your baby, or need a specific position, we’ll create a setup that feels comfortable for you and your baby. My intention is to ease the areas that carry the most tension during postpartum, neck, shoulders, low back, and hips, while also offering intentional, loving touch.
Mothers deserve to be cared for with the same tenderness they pour into their babies. Being pampered and touched with love isn’t a luxury — it’s essential. This offering is one small way to pour back into you.
Honoring the Placenta
Your placenta was your baby’s first home, nourishing and sustaining your little one throughout pregnancy. Across cultures, the placenta holds deep spiritual and cultural significance, often connected to God, ancestors, Mother Earth, and the sacredness of life. Through placenta artwork, I honor the first mother and help you preserve a tangible piece of your birth story, giving thanks for the remarkable work of your placenta and the connection it represents between you and your baby.
Placenta Prints: $300
A placenta print is a meaningful piece of art created from the beautiful, tree-like pattern on the fetal side of the placenta, often called the “Tree of Life.”
I begin by creating an impression using the placenta’s natural blood, followed by a second print in the paint colors of your choice. Both prints are created on canvas and professionally framed, giving you two unique keepsakes to cherish for years to come.
Services Include:
A prenatal logistics meeting to discuss your vision for your placenta artwork and coordinate retrieval and storage, whether you're birthing at home, in a birth center, or at a hospital
Two custom canvas prints: one natural blood print and one painted print
Your choice of black, wood, or gold frames for each print
All art supplies and materials
Please note: Images shown are sample prints. Each placenta is unique and creates its own distinct imprint. Frame selection may vary based on store availability.
