Herbal Ritual & Body Work
As an add-on to any postpartum visit, I offer a deeply restorative and devotional ritual that includes a sitz bath or yoni steam, followed by a 30-minute intuitive massage — all for an additional $100.
Sitz baths and yoni steams are time-honored medicinal practices that gently support the body’s recovery after birth.
Sitz baths are especially helpful in the early days postpartum — particularly if you’ve experienced tearing, have stitches, or need relief for swelling, soreness, or inflammation. Warm herbal soaks bring relief, reduce risk of infection, and support surface-level healing.
Yoni steaming is ideal for mamas who are past the initial days of bleeding, have no tearing or stitches, and are ready for warmth and circulation. This practice encourages the uterus to contract and release any remaining lochia, supports tissue repair, and helps restore balance in the pelvic bowl. It’s also a way to show your yoni appreciation and reverence after the incredible work of childbirth.
Massage is offered in-home and entirely tailored to you. Whether you're nursing, holding your baby, or need a specific position, we’ll create a setup that feels comfortable for you and your baby. My intention is to ease the areas that carry the most tension during postpartum — neck, shoulders, low back, and hips — while also offering intentional, loving touch.
Mothers deserve to be cared for with the same tenderness they pour into their babies. Being pampered and touched with love isn’t a luxury — it’s essential. This offering is one small way to pour back into you.
I typically use my Mama’s Mending herbal blend, a 3-in-1 Tea, Steam, & Soak made from organic herbs that support postpartum healing. You can read more about the blend (here), or purchase one for yourself. If you have unique needs or sensitivities, I’m happy to create a custom blend just for you.
This ritual is not just about physical recovery — it’s an invitation to pause, soften, and reconnect with your body during this sacred window of healing.
Honoring the Placenta
Do you want to honor your placenta but aren’t sure how? Or maybe you’d love to commemorate it—but don’t feel called to handle it yourself?
As an add-on service, I offer placenta prints and/or a placental burial ceremony to help you honor and cherish the first mother.
Why Honor the Placenta?
In most medical settings, the placenta is treated as waste—something to discard and forget. But the placenta is far more than that. It was your baby’s first home. It nourished, protected, and sustained your little one, filtering toxins and connecting your baby to you. In many cultures, the placenta is considered sacred, directly linked to ancestors, Mother Earth, and the spirit world. By honoring your placenta, you give thanks for all it did. You also create space for closure, celebration, and a deeper connection to your journey as a mother. Many believe that doing so invites blessings, protection, and good fortune for both you and your baby.
Placenta Prints – $300
A placenta print is a sacred piece of art created from the “Tree of Life” on the fetal side of the placenta. I begin by making an impression using the natural blood of the placenta (the first print), followed by a second print using the paint colors of your choice. Both are printed on high-quality canvas and professionally framed.
Services include:
A prenatal logistics meeting to hear your unique story and cover the logistics of placenta retrieval and storage (whether you’re birthing at home, in a birth center, or a hospital)
Two custom canvas prints (one blood print and one painted)
Your choice of black, wood, or gold frames for each print
All art supplies and materials
Placental Burial Ceremony – $200
A placental burial ceremony is a meaningful way to honor and return your placenta to the Earth. Each ceremony is fully customizable and can reflect your personal, cultural, or spiritual values.
Services include:
A prenatal meeting to hear your unique story, discuss ceremony preferences, and cover the logistics of placenta retrieval and storage (whether you’re birthing at home, in a birth center, or a hospital)
A six-week postpartum check-in to schedule (or make any changes to) your ceremony
A plant or small tree to bury with your placenta
Optional elements such as blessings, prayers, song, birth reflections, and intention-setting
Receive a $50 discount when you purchase both services together.
Please Note: The images shown are sample prints. Each placenta is unique and will create its own distinct imprint. Frame selection may vary based on store availability.
